New York City once founded by Dutch as their commercial centre has now become one of the most populous cities in the world. The City of New York is the most populous city in the United States and metropolitan area covered by New York is the largest urban area around the world. For some time, New York City was the Capital of United States too.

Now the Capital of United States has been shifted to Washington DC, even though New York has its own importance for United States. The most important benefit of New York City is that this place is situated at one of the best Natural Harbors, making it Ideal for Trade and Commerce. It is one of the most helping factors for NYC, because New York developed as the centre or trade in United States just due to this benefit. The city is also a major center for several international affairs. The headquarters of the United Nations is also situated here. New York City is also home to some tallest building establishments of world like Empire State Building and Rockefeller Centre along with several other skyscrapers. Once twin towers of World Trade Centre was also a part of this list. But now that is a matter of past.

After bagging that discount flight ticket to New York it’s time to start exploring New York’s food culture. Influenced by the large number of dining patrons and the city’s original immigrants, the culture is diverse with the Jewish and Italian immigrants making the city famous for their bagels and New York style pizza. But in the Adirondacks area alone you will find the following great choice.
Visiting Aimie’s Dinner and a Movie you’ll enjoy a movie with your dinner or how about The BayView Inn Pub and Grill offering direct water access to Lake Champlain’s scenic Willsboro Bay. Taste forty flavours of Vermont’s finest ice cream, yoghurt and sorbets at Ben and Jerry’s or try the Big Moose Station restaurant, being a refurbished early 1900’s train station on the Adirondack Line.
